Hace tiempo que quería escribir estas líneas para explicar mi historia.

Selena llegó a Secondlife hace dos años, concretamente el 27 de Diciembre de 2009. Curiosa, observadora y crítica, bebé Selena empezó a analizar todo lo que este mundo le ofrecía. Al principio todo era nuevo,  aprender a moverse y comunicarse era todo un reto.

Poco a poco empezó a disfrutar de los paisajes, lugares nuevos y pudo compartir estas experiencias con los demás. En uno de estos viajes conoció un lugar que cambiaría su segunda vida para siempre: Theatre on the Hill. Como dice mi perfil, reúne las características que hacen de  Secondlife “un chocolate extra dentro de la caja de bombones de mi vida”. Allí tengo grandes amigos a los que admiro por su creatividad, sensibilidad y sobre todo por estar siempre ahí a pesar de que a veces no disponga de tanto tiempo como me gustaría. Os adoro a todos, pero Oliver Elton es especial para mí.

Y paralelamente al descubrimiento de este lugar llegó Bob, nunca hasta ahora os había hablado de él. Nos conocimos pocos meses después de mi nacimiento. Hemos explorado Secondlife juntos y hemos compartido muchas tardes de charla, risas y enfados. Gracias a este mundo extraño he podido conocer a una persona estupenda, me aporta mucha serenidad. Hablar con él me ha enseñado una nueva forma de comunicación. Desafortunadamente vivimos en paises distintos y nunca nos hemos visto, aunque es algo que últimamente me he planteado hacer. Secondlife es una parte importante de la comunicación pero sólo una parte. Tiempo al tiempo.

Y el tiempo, la curiosidad, el descubrimiento de Secondlife como una plataforma muy útil y sobre todo mi amor por el arte, los viajes y la arquitectura me llevaron a escribir un blog como este. Si os fijaís en los primeros párrafos de de este escrito paso de escribir de Selena como una tercera persona a escribirla en primera persona. Selena es una parte de mi, un bombón extra en mi caja de bombones.

Sólo añadir una pequeña explicación del blog. El nombre es  la esencia de su estructura, Selena yendo de estación en estación, y expresando vivencias y sensaciones de lo que veo, siento y de las personas que conozco, asi como algunos links, pensamientos o cosas curiosas. Entre estación y estación se incluye una recomendación interesante.

Un largo escrito que termina con un enorme GRACIAS a todos los que compartís esta aventura conmigo.

It´s been a long time since I tought about writing these lines to explain my story.

Selena came to Secondlife two years ago, specifically on December 27, 2009. Curious, observant and critical, baby Selena began to analyze everything that this world offered to her. At the beginning everything was new, learning to move and communicate was quite a challenge.

Little by little she began to enjoy the scenery, new places and she was able to share these experiences with others. On one of these trips she met a place that would change her secondlife forever: Theatre on the Hill. You will find out why on the blog of this site: http://selenaattheatreonthehill.blogspot.com. As my profile says, it brings together the features that make Secondlife "an extra chocolate in the box of chocolates of my life". There I have great friends who I admire for their creativity, sensitivity and especially for always being there to understand that sometimes I am not as available as I would like. I love everyone, but Oliver Elton is special to me.

And at the same time to the discovery of this place Bob came to my life, I think this is the first time I speak about him. We met a few months after my birth. We explored together Secondlife and we have shared many evenings of conversation, laughter and anger. Thanks to this strange world I have been able to meet a wonderful person, he gives me great serenity. Talking to him has shown me a new way of communication. Unfortunately we live in different countries and we have never met, and this is something I think about lately. SecondLife is an important part of the communication but only a part. Time will say.

And the time, the curiosity, the discovery of Secondlife as a very useful platform and especially my love for art, travel and architecture led me to write a blog like this. If you look at  first paragraphs of this writing I change from writing about Selena as a third person to write in the first person. Selena is a part of me, an extra chocolate on my box of chocolates.

Just add a brief explanation of the blog. The name is the essence of its structure, Selena going from station to station, and expressing my experiences and feelings of what I see, feel and people I know, as well as some links, thoughts or other things. Between station and station it is included an interesting recommendation.

A long letter which ends with a huge THANKS to all those who share this adventure with me.
