Against yesterday post, sit down. Grab paper and pencil. Write one of your dreams. Meanwhile, while it makes reality, draw it, each day a couple of strokes. Dreams have a beginning but its end is always a surprise. Thats why they are dreams. Later on, write another dream and complete the drawing.
It is your personal, unique agenda. The important thing is that you enjoy yourself. Because if  you don´t like it, it loses meaning.
 Succesfull projects begin this way.
Art works begin this way. For me the most valuable ones are the most beloved by their author.
Happy Wednesday!

Decorative mexican style is another proof that joins all the characteristics that I have spoken about on the previous posts: mixture of history and modernity, primary colors, European influence, pre-Hispanic elements, importance of nature.

I Find particularly interesting the use of materials: natural fibers, wood, wool.

Carpets with typical geometric shapes  inspired in indigenous designs.

Maderas naturales y espacios confortables.

Natural wood and comfortable spaces.

Esculturas y cuadros con motivos prehispánicos.

Sculptures and paintings with pre-Hispanic motifs.

I confess another passion: furniture, all ages and styles. I think furniture helps to understand a culture from a different perspective.

Con retraso :).../...With delay :)

México. Arte.

Mexican art is full of color. The life spirit of its people is reflected in the canvases. The pictures are filled with themes that reflect the daily life of its people.

Diego Rivera wasone of the most famous Mexican painters during the 20th Century, from my point of view his paintings and murals represent a social reivindicacion by the author. Many of them are on display in public buildings, contain the Communist ideology of Diego Rivera.
He also received numerous commissions by the Mexican Government to create an indigenous style of the country reflected popular scenes in its history. And this is the main reason that leads me to talk about this artist. Contemplating his work we can understand what really the Mexican style is.

I would add that one of my biggest motivations to contemplate the art when I visit a place is precisely this one. I believe that the artistic manifestations are as a sign: they reflect the personality but adapt to the circumstances and they are an unquestionable print of its author.

A signature or a work never will be interpreted in the same way by two people, as they will be never reproduced in a precise way.

And when we talk about Mexico and art religion and culture go hand in hand.
