El origen perdido

Acabó una semana caótica, sin un sólo minuto para mi misma. Porque escribir en el blog implica esto, dedicar unos minutos a pensar qué contar, cómo contarlo y sobre todo detenerse a encontrar las palabras adecuadas. En nuestro mundo de prisas hay veces en que la reflexión no encuentra su espacio,  pero lo bueno es que sabemos que tarde o temprano el cuerpo nos exigirá volver a centrarnos.

A chaotic week finished, without a minute for myself. Because blogging implies time, dedicate a few minutes to think about what to tell, how to tell it and above all take a break to find the right words. In our fast world there are times in which the reflection doesnt find its place, but the good news are that we know that sooner or later time will require us to refocus.

No sólo se necesita reservar tiempo para escribir, también para leer. En ambos casos es un ejercicio de abstracción.

Not only time is needed to set write, also to read. In both cases it is an abstraction exercise.

Hoy os voy a hablar del libro que estoy a punto de terminar, se trata de "El origen perdido", de Matilde Asensi. Una historia que comienza en Barcelona pero que en el transcurso del libro nos traslada a Bolivia. A lo largo de sus páginas el lector va descubriendo una cultura distinta desde la perspectiva de tres jóvenes catalanes.Hay una gran parte ficticia en sus páginas y en ocasiones el desarrollo de la trama es más bien lento, pero a mi me ha despertado el interés por antiguas civilizaciones, por el origen del lenguaje, por diferentes formas de escritura. No espereis un libro de historia, es más bien un libro de aventuras basado en legados históricos.

Today I will talk about the book that I am about to conclude, "The lost origin", of Matilde Asensi. A story that begins in Barcelona but that in the course of the book takes us to Bolivia. Throughout its pages, the reader discovers a different culture from the perspective of three young Catalans.There is a large fictional part on their pages and sometimes the development of the plot is rather slow, but it has awakened the interest for ancient civilizations to me, for the origin of the language, for different ways of writing. Dont expect a history book, it is more like a book of adventures based on historical legacies.

Podría contar mucho más, pero creo que si os gustan las novelas de aventura y os atraen antiguas civilizaciones lo mejor es que cojais el libro y empeceis a leerlo. Después, si queréis, lo comentamos. :).

It could tell much more, but I think that if you like the adventure novels and you feel  attracted by ancient civilizations the best is that you take the book and begin to read it. Later, if you want, we discuss it. :).
